Blade Runner in the Cotswolds

In the beautiful location of the Lords of the Manor Hotel, Upper Slaughter in the Cotswolds the Cotswold Conservation Board organizing courses in traditional skills. The Scythe, thanks to lightweight Austrian Scythes are making a comeback. The Scythe has been used for many centuries to cut and trim vegetation at ground level. Lawns, meadows, and weeds can all be controlled by the use of the scythe. It also has the advantage of being peaceful and quiet and is a good exercise for one’s posture.
